We have been very busy in Year 9 Japanese this year, with excursions to Sacred Heart Senior School, visits from Japanese exchange students and Marymount students, as well as learning lots of new Japanese. Students have been learning about Japanese school life, language involved in discussing information about themselves and daily life, and are about to learn the second written alphabet, Katakana. Our assessment tasks have consisted of tests, written Japanese tasks, reflection of cultual aspects of Japan, and creation of Japanese letters using Japanese Word Processing.
